Our Story

The Heart Behind Redeeming Lives, Inc.

Redeeming Lives, Inc. was birthed from a vision to restore hope, healing, and purpose to those who have been broken by life’s challenges. Founded by Dr. Cheryl Williams, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Christian Counselor, Certified Public Manager and Executive Pastor, Redeeming Lives stands at the intersection of faith and mental health, offering services that transform lives from the inside out.

What began as a desire to help individuals navigate emotional struggles and discover inner strength has evolved into a movement of compassion, education, and empowerment. Today, Redeeming Lives provides counseling, leadership development, and community-based programs that help individuals, families, and organizations rise above barriers and thrive.

At its heart, Redeeming Lives exists to remind every person that healing is possible, leadership can be developed, and every person deserves a chance to thrive. We don’t just offer services — we offer transformation, one life, one family, and one community at a time.

A Message from Our Founder

Redeeming Lives was birthed from a place of both pain and purpose.
I have witnessed firsthand the weight of brokenness — individuals silently battling emotional distress, families torn by conflict, and leaders pouring from empty vessels. Yet, I have also seen the miraculous power of restoration when faith meets compassionate care.

Redeeming Lives, Inc. represents more than an organization — it is a movement of hope and transformation. Every counselor, coach, and partner who serves with us carries the same heart: to empower individuals to heal, families to reconnect, and communities to grow stronger.

Like many we serve, our organization has faced challenges, transitions, and seasons of testing — yet by God’s grace, we have continued to sustain, adapt, and rise stronger after every crisis. Each obstacle has deepened our faith and strengthened our resolve to serve with excellence, integrity, and compassion.

My prayer is that Redeeming Lives will continue to be a light in the community, a place of safety, and a reminder that redemption is not only possible — it’s promised.
